Buses
The Aerobus service goes to and from Placa de Catalunya every 15 minutes, dropping off at locations along the way, and costs 4 Euros. It is a good option for those with little luggage. 20 to 30 minutes.
Trains
Trains run from the airport to Sants station in the city centre every 30 minutes, costing around 2 Euros. Takes 20 to 30 minutes. The airport station is located near Terminal A and is connected to the terminal by a moving walkway. Barcelona subway map (the airport is bottom left, listed as 'Aeroport Sitges Vilanova').
Taxis
There are taxi ranks outside the airport terminals; taxis are metered and cost between €15 and €25 to the city centre. 20 to 30 minutes. Private car transfers to the city centre or other area destinations (not cheap, but may make sense if you have several people, need help, or have lots of luggage) may be pre-booked online at: Airport Transfer Service, Shuttle Direct, World Airport Transfers
