Buses
The airport is served by six express airport bus routes, which connect to destinations in the greater area of Athens and Piraeus. Buses run frequently day and night. Fare is 3 Euros.
Trains
The easiest and quickest way to reach the city centre from the airport is on board Athens' new Metro. Metro Line 3 connects the airport with Syntagma Square and Monastiraki. Athens International is also connected to Athens Central Railway Station (Larissis Station) by the Suburban Rail line (map). Journey time 30 minutes. Fare is 8 Euros.
Taxis
Taxis are available in front of the airport terminals. Journey time 40 minutes or more depending on traffic. Fares to central Athens are about 25 Euros.
