Buses
An airport bus leaves for the city centre every 30 minutes, and there is an airport minibus service that takes passengers to any destination in the city as soon as the bus is full. Tickets can be purchased in the Arrival Hall at the Airport Minibus counter. Fare is HUF2,100. Express bus 93 runs to the nearest metro station.
Taxis
Taxis are available. Fare to central Budapest is between HUF3,500 and HUF7,000. Private car transfers to the city centre or other area destinations (not cheap, but may make sense if you have several people, need help, or have lots of luggage) may be pre-booked online at: Airport Transfer Service, World Airport Transfers
