Buses
Buses service Manchester city centre as well as other local towns and cities. National Express (tel: 08705 808 080) operates coach services to cities all over the UK. All buses, coaches and trains leave from The Station, the airport's new transport interchange.
Trains
There are regular trains between the airport and Manchester Piccadilly railway station, which has connections to destinations throughout the UK.
Taxis
Taxis are available. Private car transfers to the city centre or other area destinations (not cheap, but may make sense if you have several people, need help, or have lots of luggage) may be pre-booked online at: Airport Transfer Service
