Buses
Public bus Line 76 runs to Brno. There are 2 large bus stations in Brno: 'Grand hotel' near the railway station, and 'Zvonarka' (with international routes) about 500 m. south of railway station. Bus and tram travel around Brno is comprehensive and very cheap. Frequent coaches run from Brno to Prague and Vienna (both 2.5 to 3 hours).
Trains
Brno central railway station is called Brno Hlavni Nadrazi, and is on the the Prague-Brno-Vienna railway line.
Taxis
Brno taxi services overcharge less than those in Prague, but do ask for an approximate price in advance (it should cost about 300CZK for a ride into the city centre). Make sure that the taxi-meter is set to zero. Alternatively phone City Taxi, (operator speaks English): +420 5 42321321.
